Welcome to Great Falls College!

Navigating at a new college is exciting but can also be overwhelming. You’ll be most successful if you understand campus processes and expectations before you start classes. We require all new, transfer, and re-admitted students to complete a series of online orientation modules. These modules should take approximately 45 minutes to complete and provide more information about Great Falls College and highlight areas that will aid you in your success.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE ORIENTATION:

Step One

WATCH THE INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO ON BANNER WEB/MY INFO: The video posted below explains how to use your Student ID number to claim your Net ID. You must have your Net ID and password to log-into the Orientation modules.

AFTER YOU COMPLETE ONLINE ORIENTATION:

  1. WAIT: After you complete all modules, a member from the Admissions team will contact you by phone and/or e-mail to schedule an appointment with your academic advisor. Please be patient and remember to regularly check your e-mail and make sure your voice mailbox is setup and able to accept new messages.

  2. MEET WITH YOUR ADVISOR: We will arrange an appointment for you with a professional academic advisor. You will meet with them in-person on our campus or by phone. That 45 minute appointment will cover everything you need to know to create your purpose, path, and plan.

  3. ENROLL IN YOUR CLASSES: You will register for your classes at your advising appointment.

  4. BUY TEXTBOOKS: Once you register for classes, you’ll be able to purchase textbooks and other supplies.

  5. ATTEND OPENING DAY: You’ll receive an invitation to attend Opening Day. This event for new students is held the Saturday before classes begin each semester.

  6. START YOUR SUCCESS at Great Falls College MSU.
